Position Title: Corporate Communications Expert
Number of Openings: 1
Position: Full-time, Project-Based (3 months)
Location: Remote / East Africa Region
We are looking for a skilled Corporate Communications Expert to support the design and delivery of a regional communications and publicity campaign within the financial services and payments sector.
Essential Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: At least five (5) years of professional experience in communications, media relations, or public information.
- Proven Track Record: Completion of at least two (2) assignments of a similar nature, particularly in cross-border advertising or publicity campaigns.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience in writing press releases, commentaries, publications, opinion pieces, video scripts, and speeches.
Desirable Attributes:
- Good understanding of the East African Community (EAC) payment system and regional economic context.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders across countries.
- Knowledge of French shall be considered an added advantage.
