Position overview
Seeking a Team Leader to lead the revision of the TVET Strategy. This role carries overall responsibility for quality delivery, stakeholder engagement, and finalisation of the updated strategy for East Africa.
Education: PhD in education, science & technology, economics, social sciences, computer science with AI/digitalisation focus, or related field.
Language: English. (French desirable)
Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in TVET policy development and implementation.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, research, analysis, and creating costed implementation plans.
- 3+ years in leadership/management roles with personnel responsibility.
- 2+ years working in the IGAD region with knowledge of regional dynamics.
- 5+ years in development cooperation, engaging with governments and international organisations.
- At least two projects involving engagement with governments, RECs, CSOs, and partners.
- At least one project on TVET policy development in East Africa.
