Position overview
Seeking a TVET Expert to support the revision of the TVET Strategy. This role shall focus on country-level inputs for Ethiopia and South Sudan, data collection, and stakeholder engagement. The consultant shall work closely with the Team Leader to ensure quality contributions and alignment with regional priorities.
Education: Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Sciences, International Relations, Education, Economics, or Statistics.
Language: English and Arabic – working proficiency.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in TVET policy development and implementation.
- At least 3 years in collecting, analysing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
- 5 years of experience in TVET projects in Ethiopia and South Sudan, with knowledge of country-specific dynamics.
- At least 2 years’ experience in development cooperation, working with government officials and international organisations.
- At least 1 project involving engagement with national government and civil society in either Ethiopia or South Sudan.
