Position overview
Seeking a TVET Expert to support the revision of the TVET Strategy. This role shall focus on country-level inputs for Djibouti and Somalia, data collection, and stakeholder engagement. The consultant shall work closely with the Team Leader to ensure quality contributions and alignment with regional priorities.
Education: Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Sciences, International Relations, Education, Economics, or Statistics.
Language: English and French – working proficiency.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in TVET policy development and implementation.
- At least 3 years in collecting, analysing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
- 5 years of experience in TVET projects in Djibouti and Somalia, with sound knowledge of national dynamics.
- At least 2 years’ experience in development cooperation, working with government officials and international organisations.
- At least 1 project involving engagement with the national government and civil society in either Djibouti or Somalia.
