We are seeking tourism professionals for a tourism development initiative in Grenada. The project shall focus on strengthening tourism strategies, improving institutional systems, and building the capacity of public and private sector stakeholders. It shall integrate digital tools for project monitoring and management, implement communications and stakeholder engagement activities, and support the development of community-based tourism products.
Key Activities:
- Design and implementation of tourism strategies and institutional strengthening measures.
- Oversee the introduction and use of digital systems for project tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
- Manage communications and media activities to support stakeholder engagement and information sharing.
- Design and deliver training programmes for public and private sector capacity building.
- Support community-based tourism development through participatory planning and product creation.
- Coordinate project workstreams and ensure alignment with objectives and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in tourism development, institutional strengthening, and multi‑stakeholder project management in the Caribbean or similar contexts.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven ability to manage tourism projects with multiple components.
- Experience in digital monitoring platforms, project tracking systems, and software applications.
- Experience in media strategy, content development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in training programme design and delivery.
- Experience in community tourism planning and product development.
- Familiarity with sustainable tourism.
- Experience working in Grenada
