We are seeking qualified experts to support a skills gap analysis and labour market assessment project in Ghana. 4 Positions are available for TVET analysts, labour market analysts, a quantitative data analyst, and enumerators for short-term assignments.
POSITION 1: Analyst: TVET (Supply‑side) – 1 position
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education, education planning, education economics, finance, statistics, or other related social science field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ professional experience in TVET research and analysis.
Thematic expertise
- TVET landscape assessments.
- Skills gap analysis within technical and vocational education.
- Skills needs forecasting for training institutions.
Knowledge requirements
- Strong understanding of Ghana’s TVET and education sector performance, including key stakeholders and institutional roles.
Core skills
- Proven quantitative data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to draft high‑quality chapters or sections for technical reports.

POSITION 2: Analyst: Enterprise (Demand‑side) – 1 position
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education, finance, statistics, economics, or other related social science field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ professional experience in enterprise and labour market assessments.
Thematic expertise
- Enterprise surveys and workforce demand analysis.
- Skills needs forecasting for industry sectors.
Knowledge requirements
- Strong understanding of Ghana’s enterprise landscape and labour market dynamics, including skills demand patterns.
Core skills
- Proven quantitative data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to draft high‑quality chapters or sections for technical reports.

POSITION 3: Analyst: Data (Quantitative) – 1 position
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in sociology, economics, anthropology, political science, statistics, or other related social science field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ professional experience in education and/or TVET research and analysis and/or enterprise and labour market assessments with a strong focus on quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Thematic expertise (one or more of the following)
- TVET landscape assessments and skills gap analysis.
- Enterprise surveys, labour market assessments, enterprise skills gap assessment, and/or skills needs forecasting.
Technical skills
- Proven ability to collect, analyse, and visualise quantitative data sets.
- Familiarity with qualitative data collection and analysis methods (asset).
- Strong report drafting and technical writing capabilities.

POSITION 4: Enumerators – Multiple position
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science field; education or economics preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in primary quantitative data collection, preferably in education and/or with private sector companies.
Technical skills
- Experience using electronic and digital data collection tools.
- Ability to work effectively in field‑based data collection environments.
Language requirements
- Fluency in English and local languages spoken in the Northern, North East, Upper East, and Upper West regions of Ghana.
