We are looking for a team member background in software architect for management information system based in Monrovia, Republic of Liberia.
Qualification and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems. A Master’s degree in one of the related fields would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience, with a focus on Management Information Systems being an added advantage.
- At least five (5) years’ experience as a Software Engineer/Architect.
- Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing management information projectsin the West African sub-region.
- Proficiency in designing high-performance databases on multiple Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Expertise in web-based programming languages like PHP, HTML, etc.
- Experience in projects funded by the World Bank, USAID, or Africa Development Bank is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in Networks and Systems Administration.
- Previous experience in building capacity for conducting software end-user training.
Duration: Short-term assignment (6-9 months).
