We are looking or a technology and innovation management expert from ASEAN region for a short-term assignment to identify technology and innovation start-up ecosystem in the region. The project primarily focuses on technology and innovation in plastics circular economy.
Education
Master’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Relations etc.
Working experience
- 10+ years of experience in international business, tech, and innovation management in Southeast Asia. Professional experience in technology management, transfer, and cross-border commercialization, having worked in fields like innovation management, technology, and digital business.
- Exposure and experience with Innovation Partnership projects in Southeast Asia. Excellent understanding of Southeast Asia’s institutional and business & start-up/innovation context. Proven expertise in tech scouting and innovation projects.
- Experience with relevant green financing opportunities and schemes (government, private and global).
- Professional experience in tech deployment and innovation, connecting international solutions to challenges and business opportunities and networking with Southeast Asian technology adopters about plastic waste management and other relevant areas.
- Direct experience with international forums aimed to facilitate technology collaboration connecting investor and start-up ecosystems and understanding their needs.
- Working experience with various stakeholders, including policymakers, institutions, NGOs, business associations, corporates, investors, SMEs, incubators, and start-ups about tech access and deployment, program, and ecosystem development.
- Proven skills in international, interdisciplinary, and intercultural research/management.
- Experience in supporting innovative start-ups and solutions in developing opportunities and connecting Southeast Asian companies.
Language
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
- Working knowledge of Southeast Asian languages is considered an advantage.
