We are looking for a junior researcher (full-time) to join our team for our ongoing global projects focusing on education, skills development, technology, agriculture, environment and climate change.
Profile Description:
Roles and responsibilities:
- Conducting desk research for diverse projects
- Proposal writing
- Preparation of reports
- Other similar tasks as may be required
Minimum requirements and skills:
- Education: Graduate degree in social science, communication and related areas (mandatory)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience. Candidates with no prior experience may be considered on merit.
- Desirable: Work experience in similar work in the development sector and/or the social sciences.
- Attributes:
- Keenness for research
- Report and proposal writing
- Desirable: Working proficiency in languages: English (mandatory); others like French/Spanish will be an asset.
- Skills:
- IT skills using Microsoft and Google suite
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- Attention to detail
