We are looking for the following mini-grid consultants for a project in Africa.
- Project Lead with at least a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or any other related field; at least eight years of relevant experience in data analytics, digital platform design, and development are required, preferably in the energy sector with a focus on mini-grid programs; demonstrated experience in managing projects and coordinating multi-country initiatives. Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa is required.
- Mini-grid Technical Expert with at least a Master’s degree in renewable energy, engineering or any other related field; at least five years of experience in the design, implementation and monitoring of mini-grid projects, with a strong technical background in renewable energy systems, particularly solar PV. Proficiency in data analysis and modelling tools relevant to mini-grid feasibility assessment, optimisation and performance monitoring. Previous experience working on digital platform projects in the energy sector would be advantageous.
- National Digital Experts from Burkina Faso, Comoros, Djibouti, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritania, Nigeria, Somalia, with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the development, customisation, and deployment of digital tools and platforms, preferably in the energy sector. Proficiency in API integration, database management, and cloud hosting solutions. Experience in energy sector digitalisation, preferably with projects in off-grid or mini-grid electrification, is a strong asset. Experience in working with international development agencies is an advantage.
